Who Is FundAthena?
FundAthena is the world’s first online marketplace for individuals who want to invest in successful start-ups and early-stage businesses that are accelerating their growth and run exclusively by gender diverse management teams (To us, gender diverse means that women comprise between 20% and 50% of senior management and board membership, women ownership is at least 10%, and employee mix is also in the 20% to 50% range).
Our Mission
Our goal is to help these businesses grow and prosper by providing them with easier access to capital so they can grow and thrive.
We will raise capital for select startups and mid- and late-stage highly successful businesses with gender diverse management teams that have raised at least $500,000 in seed capital with revenues of at least $500,000. They are seeking to raise $2 million to $50 million in capital to scale up faster.
Our investors are individuals from all walks of life who want to participate in the growth of dynamic companies that also have gender diverse management teams.
This is a new opportunity for individual investors brought about by the Security and Exchange Commission’s new rules under Regulation A+.
